Applications for May 3, 2025 General Election
Begins: 1/15/2025 - 8:00 am
Ends: 2/14/2025 - 5:00 pm
The city is currently accepting application for a place on the General Election ballot scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025. You can obtain an application packet in the City Secretary's office located at 721 W. Robertson Street from 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The last day to file an application will be Friday, Febrauary 14, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
The current Memphis City Council is:
- Joe Davis - Mayor - Term expires May 2026
- Vacant - Alderman Ward 1 - Term expires May 2025
- Woody Richardson - Alderman Ward 1 - Term expires May 2026
- Ed Bailey - Alderman Ward 2 - Term expires May 2025
- Lloyd Roberts - Alderman Ward 2 - Term expires May 2026
- David Gilbert - Alderman Ward 3 - Term expires May 2026
- Melisa McIntosh - Alderwoman Ward 3 - Term expires May 2025
- Ray Dickson - Alderman Ward 4 - Term expires May 2026
City Council Meeting Reminder
Begins: 2/10/2025 - 6:00 p.m.
Ends: 2/10/2025 - Until all business is complete
We have our City Council Meetings on the second Monday of every month. The meetings start at 6:00 pm and are held in the City Council room at City Hall. A list of the agenda items will be posted on the front glass at City Hall on Friday, February 14th. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend Council Meetings.
Presidents Day Closure

All City Offices, Landfill, and Library, will be closed Monday, February 17th, to observe Presidents Day.
